The scheduling console allows a scheduler to switch views to visualize schedules, jobs, and resources–over a given period.
The scheduling console helps a scheduler:
- Efficiently use resources based on their location and availability.
- Identify jobs that are not scheduled.
- Understand the relationship between activities, jobs, and resources–enabling them to be utilized effectively.

The Scheduling Console
The scheduling console allows you to perform actions such as:
- Allocate/schedule jobs.
- Dispatch notifications.
- Remove job allocations.
- "Unschedule" jobs.
- Auto schedule jobs.

Scheduling Console Control Bar
The console control bar (the dark gray bar on the far left of the console) allows you to perform actions such as dispatch notifications, remove job allocations, and unschedule jobs.
Notify all resources.
Show job on map.
Delete selected allocations.

Resources and Assets Tabs
The resources and assets tabs enable you to switch between viewing your resources and your assets (per region).

The region selector lets you change the region you are viewing.

Date and Time Range Controls
Date and time range controls allow you to select the date/time you are viewing, and switch the zoom levels of the swimlane.

Swimlanes control the time schedule for jobs and resources.

The map gives the scheduler a view of the location of their resources, jobs, and assets.

The job list gives you an overview of jobs and their status. You can drag jobs onto to the swimlanes to allocate them to resources.
