Availability Management Console
For a Skedulo resource record, where their "Employment Type" equals "Full-Time," shift creation is triggered via the creation of an availability within the "Resources Console," where a role is required to be related to the availability.
Figure 1. Shift creation.
The shift record details will copy the following information from the availability:
- Start Time.
- End Time.
Roster Management Console

Automated Shift Creation on Allocation
Alternatively for resource records where their "Employment Type" is not equal to "Full-Time," if a resource is deemed as being available to deliver a job but a shift is not yet existing, at the point of allocation a shift will be created with the following information copied from the job and job allocation to the shift:
- Resource (Job Allocation).
- Role (Job).
- Start Time (Job).
- End Time (Job).
Overlapping shifts can be created enabling "Sleepover Disturbance" shifts to be created (with a different role) so they can be sent to Easy Employer for interpretation.
