With "Shifts" enabled, schedulers will now see shift information (such as shift name and location) displayed in dark blue in the swimlanes of the "Scheduling" console (horizontal and vertical swimlanes), and the "Job Details" view. Refer to Shifts in the Swimlanes. |
For shifts, conflicts will no longer be shown for job allocations made within the shift—regardless of the resource's type of working hours (i.e., availability or shifts). Job conflicts, however, will still be shown when they overlap a resource with activities or no availability (i.e., they've reported sick). Refer to Shifts in the Swimlanes. |
The optimization engine now supports specifying a maximum travel time—for use in Optimize, Suggest and for resource suggestions (when creating jobs). Its default value is configured using an admin setting. When using "Optimize" on the swimlanes, the default value can be changed using the Optimize settings. Note: This value is ignored if you have enabled the option "Ignore Travel Time." Refer to Optimized Scheduling and Admin Settings: Scheduling. |
Map view improvements continue to flow through. This release we have changed the "Suggested" and "Actual" route colors to be more user-friendly. Refer to Map View. |
We've implemented some improvements for the console swimlanes—removed the sticky details on cards and the drag handles. Now, to adjust a card's duration, hover-over its edges and see the cursor change, then drag. |
For some pop-out error notifications, we've added a "More Details" information button which expands the error displayed to show a more detailed error message. Note: These extra details may display unformatted raw data. |
Schedulers can now drag and drop jobs on the "Resources" schedule page. Snap (time) adjustments have been added as well. Refer to Resources Console. |
