The scheduling section of the admin settings allows admins to configure how their organization uses the intelligent scheduling features "Optimize" and "Suggest."
Tip
Access to the admin settings is provided via the user profile button (at the top-right of the console).
This section contains settings that can be configured to provide the default configuration for your optimize settings (the values set here will be reflected in the optimize settings in the scheduling console and suggestions shown in the job details view):
Minimize travel time. This setting attempts to distribute jobs so that travel time is minimized for the scheduled resources. The default value is ON.
Balance Workload. This setting attempts to distribute jobs between resources so that every resource has an even amount of allocated time. The default value is OFF.
Minimize scheduled resources. This setting attempts to distribute jobs between as few resources as possible. The default value is OFF.
Protect already scheduled jobs from being optimized (respect scheduled jobs).
Prevent allocated jobs that are in "Pending Dispatch" status from being moved (during optimization).
The default value is ON.
Respect Job Times.
Allocate jobs in "Queued" or "Pending Allocation" status, to the time set on the job.
The default value is ON.
Respect Job Times over time constraints.
When a "Queued" or "Pending Allocation" job has a job time defined as well as time constraints, prioritize job time over the time constraint.
The default value is ON.
Note
"Respect Job Times" must be ON before this setting can be enabled.
Ignore travel times.
Ignore all travel times between jobs/activities.
The default value is OFF.
Ignore travel times for the first job of the day.

The default value is OFF.
Ignore travel times for the last job of the day.
Ignore travel time from the last job/activity in the current view, back to the resource's home.
The default value is OFF.
Set a maximum travel time for all resources (in minutes).
Prevent resources from being allocated to jobs where travel time would exceed this value.
The default value is "No travel time restriction."
Note
This constraint is ignored if "Ignore travel times for the first job of the day" is enabled.
Set a snap unit for job start times to respect (in minutes).
Snap job start times to the nearest time interval. Displayed as "Snap unit" in the "Optimize Settings" drop-down list in the scheduling console.
The default value is 0.
Set a standard time interval between jobs (hours/minutes).
An interval of time between jobs on the schedule. Displayed as "Padding" in the "Optimize Settings" drop-down list in the scheduling console.
The default value is 0.
This section contains settings to allow admins to control the defaults set above.
Allow schedulers to override the optimization defaults.
The default value is ON.
Hide travel times in swimlanes.
When enabled this setting will disable travel times being shown in the swimlanes, i.e., the thin black bars in front of job cards will disappear and the average travel time field above the swimlanes will be blank.
The default value is OFF.
Disable auto-suggest on job details.
When enabled, suggestions from the intelligent scheduling engine will not display in the swimlanes of the job details view.
The default value is OFF.
