Schedulers can send job offers from individual bookings or from group event jobs to resources, offering them a job.
Resources will receive a push notification to inform them they have received a job offer.
Note
It is recommended that the job offer function now be managed within the Skedulo console.
The maximum number of resources will determine how many offers can be accepted by resources before the offers for that job are closed.
Once the "Create Job" button has been selected, there will be an option to "Create Offers."
Upon selecting "Create Offers," you will drill into the Create Offer(s) modal showing a list of the Resources that:
-
Are available at the date and time of the job.
-
Have the tags associated with this job.
-
Are not to be excluded from the client’s account.
Tags can be added or removed in the "Create Offer(s)" modal to further filter the results, and the "Quick Search" feature will filter resources displayed on the current page.
You have two choices for selecting resources:
-
Select one or several resources and then create an offer to each.
-
Send an offer to all resources in one click.
Once the offer has been created, a push notification with details of the job will be sent to each resource that you have selected and the resource will notice a "Shift Offer" on their Skedulo mobile app.
Once the offers are sent, you can view them in the job-related tab, with the following details:
-
Shift Offer Name: A unique identifier is created for each offer–resource pair.
-
Resource Name.
-
Date/Time offered: The date/time the offer was sent initially.
-
Status.
The status is set to "Offered" initially. Resources can accept or decline the offers from the Skedulo mobile app. Shift offers will be allocated to resources who accept the offer on a first-come, first-serve basis.
When a resource accepts an offer, the status is changed to either "Accepted" or "Allocated." It depends on whether the number of required resources on the job has been reached or not.
When a resource declines an offer using the Skedulo mobile app, the status is changed to "Declined."
Resources will receive a push notification to inform them they have received a job offer.
Using the Skedulo mobile app, open the main menu and select "Job Offer." Once the "Job Offer" view is open, you may need to tap the "Refresh" button to reload the most recent offers in your app.
Note
If other resources have already accepted the offer before the resource checks their Skedulo mobile app, and the number of necessary resources is reached for this job, it will no longer be displayed to the resource.
Tap the arrow button to drill into the offer details.
Selecting "Accept" will result in a pop-up message "Thanks for accepting the job. You are now allocated to this job. Please click Close."
You can go to the Skedulo mobile app agenda on the day when the job starts, and there you will see its details. There is no need to confirm the job itself, by accepting the offer it changes the job allocation to "Confirmed" automatically.
Soon after you accept an offer, you will receive a confirmation text message (via "Push" or SMS depending on the preferences you have set).
Note
It may happen that, between the brief time when you opened the shift offer view, and the moment when you accepted it, other resources may have accepted and been allocated to it. In this case, the following message will be displayed "Thanks for accepting this offer. Unfortunately, it has been allocated or is no longer available. The offer will be removed from your list."
If the "Decline" button is selected, a pop-up will show saying "Thanks for declining the job. You will be removed from the job offer list. Please select close."
Select "Close," and the offer you have declined will disappear from the list.
