We've made some swimlane usability improvements to the job details view and the new job page:
Refer to Allocating Jobs and the Job Page. |
New for recurring schedules—the ability to allocate or deallocate jobs for multiple resources. Schedulers can now "bulk" allocate (or deallocate) all (or any subset of) jobs in a recurring schedule. From the recurring schedule page, the "Allocate" action (button) will appear at the top of the page once one or more jobs are selected. Note: When using this feature, allocations do not yet perform availability checks or respect resource availabilities—it will simply allocate the jobs as instructed. This feature is not available if "Resource Requirements" is enabled. Refer to Recurring Schedules. |
Another new recurring schedule feature—Schedulers can now copy or replace tasks for all following jobs in a recurring schedule. Note: Tasks can only be copied in a recurring schedule using the new "Job Page" (i.e., not via the "Job Details" view). Refer to Recurring Schedules. |
A scheduler can now select all unavailable resources with a single click when creating a job or shift offers. Refer to Shift Offers and Job Offers. |
Some settings that relate to features that depend on an API User being set will now display an alert icon when an API User has not been set. |
When using the "Create Job" page, you'll notice the "Requirements" tab now shows the total number of people required when a quantity is set. The total number will also be reflected in the job details view. Refer to Create Job and Job Details View. |

The Optimize/Schedule endpoint was modified to include a parameter that allows only the optimized jobs to be returned (rather than all jobs and their details). Note:
|
We've fixed a bug relating to custom messages for SMS and Push notifications. Customizations were not being displayed correctly when switching between the two options. |
We fixed a couple of issues that occurred when scheduling jobs on the "Jobs calendar." When dragging jobs onto the calendar (or updating their times), in certain timezones, for certain dates and times, errors occurred due to a daylight saving time (DST) issue. |
When setting a custom field to be "required," the web app will now correctly mark it to "Show on desktop" (an option in the admin settings for custom fields). |
The new "Job Page" now correctly respects the Beta admin setting "Filter displayed shifts by region." |
Sometimes, when deleting all items on one of the pages under the "Manage" menu, the page would get stuck and never finish loading. Now it works correctly. |
