Description |

Job dependencies are now available for beta testing. Job dependencies are relationships between two or more jobs where a job is dependent upon the completion of another job or multiple jobs. This allows schedulers to define a sequence of work so that they can clearly understand where jobs have a dependency on other jobs being complete. Skedulo for Salesforce customers please note that job dependencies require the Skedulo managed package v102.54 (or later), which will be released to customer sandboxes on October 14. To learn more about job dependencies, see 8.6 Job Dependencies.
Job cards on the console pages have been updated with a job dependency icon to indicate when the job is dependent on other jobs, as well as indicate when that dependency is broken. The information windows displayed on the console swimlanes, the job details swimlanes, and the resource schedule swimlanes have also been updated to show this icon.
The swimlane views now show a conflict warning if a job has a dependency on another and that dependency is no longer valid. For example, a conflict icon is displayed when a job must start after another has ended but is scheduled to start before that time.
