What's New?
Description | ||||||
We have now updated how the final eligibility output for vaccination is calculated. The booking app now factors in the Access Code in the context of different rules to calculate the final eligibility which are:
Currently, if a location has two vaccine supply records of different brands, the booking app uses a non-deterministic approach to consume the vaccine stock. We have updated the booking app now so that it always picks the older vaccine first to exhaust the older supply.
We've added the ability to migrate existing bookings from another system (like GoBookings) to the booking application. The data (both future bookings and completed bookings) is migrated to the booking app so that it can recognize that an appointment exists/has existed for the vaccine recipient. We have exposed the following four new APIs for this purpose. Details of the APIs can be found here. |
On the Manage your appointments page, when a user cancels an appointment, an additional confirmation step has been added before the app actually initiates the cancellation process. This avoids any accidental or unintended cancellation of an appointment. This requires adding the following translation keys:
Important: It is the responsibility of the Integration Partner to set up all-new message keys in Salesforce as part of the release process. |
After the users have successfully completed the registration, the booking app sends a confirmation message to them via email. |
We've added a configuration setting so that the customers can turn off/on the registration form on the No locations found screen depending upon their workflow.
In our effort to continuously improve accessibility, we have made the following updates:
Starting from this version, all page descriptions in the booking app are optional and they support Markdown Language.
We have added appointment contexts to the cancel button for Screen Readers to let the user know which appointment they are canceling. Now "Cancel Appointment 1" or "Cancel Appointment 2" appears instead of just "Cancel". |
Issues Resolved
Issue | Description |
Vaccine swap issue. |
For some locations, the booking app was not swapping to the next vaccine supply when the first was consumed. This issue has now been resolved.
Hidden Screen Readers |
Now the booking app has a separate hidden field for screen readers that will correctly read out the step in words "step one of five". |
