We have enhanced the Group Booking feature in the Skedulo booking application. In addition to the questions about the group size and the age of the youngest member of the group, the Group Booking flow is now designed to capture the following details too:

1. Personal details of every member of the group.
2. Primary contact person’s details (using a process similar to the current walk-in process) while making the booking. 
3. Primary contact person's communication preference.

To capture the above-mentioned details, two new Record Types namely Patient Details (Group Bookings)  and Group Contact Details (Group Bookings) are introduced which are:
                       

1. Patient Details (Group Bookings)
   New questions should be added in this record type to capture the personal details of the recipients in a booking. These questions are displayed in the booking app as shown below:
                            
2. Group Contact Details (Group Bookings) 
   New questions should be added in this record type to ask questions for communication preference of the primary contact (i.e. mobile number, email address). These questions are displayed in the booking app as shown below:
                            

After the booking has been completed, the confirmation codes will be sent to the primary contact’s email or mobile number, depending upon his/her communication preference. If the preferred method of communication is mobile, confirmation codes will be sent as an SMS to their mobile number N (group size) times. Each SMS contains each person’s info and confirmation code. Whereas, if the preferred method of communication is email, a single confirmation email will be sent to the primary contact’s email (if provided). This email will contain information such as appointment time, location address, and every person’s name, confirmation codes etc. for the whole group.

New Message Keys have been created for the new Group Booking feature. You have to create the following message keys to customise the copy or apply translations.

The Salesforce Package now supports the "AND" and "NEQ" (not equal) conditions in the Show If logic for questions. This adds the ability in the booking application to display certain questions if the answer to a certain question is:

• either the combination of particular answers
• or when the answer is any of the provided options except one particular option.

The formats to support the "AND" and "NEQ" conditions are given below:

• question[q.type.test] NEQ "value"

• AND [question[q.type.one] IN ["A", "B"]|question[q.type.two] EQ "value"]

• AND [question[q.one] IN ["1", "2"] | question[q.two] EQ "B" | question[q.three] NEQ "C"]

We have introduced a new field named Default Opening Hours in the location under Online Booking Settings. This field shows operating hours of a location and is displayed on the booking site

The start and end dates of a location can now be shown on the search results page. This feature is disabled by default. To enable it, the feature flag showLocationsDatesOnLocationSearch needs to be set to true. Please talk to your Customer Success Manager to set this flag to true.

This feature also requires the following message keys:

The maximum number of active Availability overrides for a location is now 20. The inactive overrides are considered deleted and hence not considered. A notification is also shown to inform the user that the overrides that are accepted are 20 as shown below:
                               
Also, the users are now allowed to type in the opening hours fields on the Availability page.
