Descriptions

A new field called Booking Type has been introduced to the Job details which helps you identify if a booking is for an individual, small, or large group booking.

Note

  1. If the Booking Type is not visible in your environment then most likely you are using a custom page layout. In this case, you will need to add it to the Job page layout first. Follow the steps below to add it:
    1. Go to Settings -> Setup -> Object Manager.
    2. Find and select the Job (API name: sked__Job__c).
    3. Go to Page Layouts-> Job Layout and find the Booking Type and drag and drop it in the Job Detail section as shown below:

      With these steps, the field Booking Type will be added to the Job details.
  2. To define the formula for the Booking Type, carry out the following steps:
    1. Go to Settings -> Setup -> Object Manager.
    2. Find and select the label Job (API Name: sked__Job__c).
    3. Go to the Field and Relationship -> Booking Type (Field name: Booking_Type__c).
    4. Click the Edit tab and define how the booking type should be determined in the Formula Options section.
      An example of the formula is given below:       IF(ISBLANK(skedbg__Booking__r.skedbg__Group_Link__c),'Individual Booking',IF(skedbg__Booking__r.skedbg__Is_Large_Group__c,'Large Group Booking','Small Group Booking'))

      Based on this formula, the Booking Type is either Individual Group Booking, Small Group Booking, or Larger Group Booking.
    5. Click Save.
      Please note that you must have the Skedulo BG Admin permission set to view/edit these settings and the System Administrator profile to make changes to page layouts.

Another new checkbox called Is Large Group has been added in the Booking details to display if a booking is a large group booking or not.

For all the bookings originating from the booking application, this checkbox is automatically checked or unchecked based on the type of the booking. However, this checkbox is still editable for the Salesforce admin to mark those bookings originating from different call centers as the Large Group Booking. Please note that if this checkbox is manually changed for a booking, then its Booking Type will also change respectively.

  1. If the Is Large Group checkbox is not visible in your environment then most likely you are using a custom page layout. In this case, you will need to add it to the Booking page layout first. Follow the steps below to add it:  
    1. Go to Settings -> Setup -> Object Manager.
    2. Find and select the label Booking (API Name: skedbg__Booking__c).
    3. Go to Page Layouts-> Booking Layout and find the Is Large Group and drag and drop it in the Booking Detail section as shown below:

  2. Click Save.
    Please note that you must have the Skedulo BG Admin permission set to view/edit these settings and the System Administrator profile to make changes to page layouts.

From this version of the Salesforce package, a new setting called MinMaxIntervalPerDose has been added to the Vaccine details to specify different minimum and maximum intervals for dose 3.

This setting is of array type and accepts the following values:

  • doseNumber(int): number of dose (must be greater than or equal to 3)
  • minInterval(int): minimum interval days (must be greater than or equal to 0)
  • maxInterval(int): maximum interval days (must be greater than or equal to 0)
    (minInterval must be less than or equal to maxInterval)

An example of minMaxIntervalPerDose is given below:

minMaxIntervalPerDose: [{"doseNumber": 3, "minInterval": 15, "maxInterval": 30}]

With this capability, you can set minimum and maximum intervals for dose 3 so as to comply with different vaccination protocols for different vaccine brands.

Important!

The existing settings minMaxIntervalOverride is checked prior to checking the minMaxIntervalPerDose.

The Salesforce admin can now change the status of a job so that any unintended change made by mistake can be reversed. With this capability, a Salesforce admin can reverse a job’s status from Completed to Pending Allocation again which allows the users to reschedule their appointments.
