Context:
Currently, there is no notification or process for when a job has been completed without a linked Service Delivery for any reason.
As a Scheduler, you want to receive a notification, manage completed jobs without Service Delivery (SD) records, and easily create ad-hoc service delivery records. This ensures that jobs with missing SD records stay visible, preventing income loss for my organization.
If the "Enable_Logger" custom setting is turned on, you can check the log in the "Logger" section in Salesforce. The Logger setting triggers when a SD is not created. How can we specifically identify records related to failed SD creation? Filter by tag. Logs caught for SD failures will have tags like JOB-xxxx (as shown in the picture). Other log tags relate to different failures.
How to access the setting:
1. Go to "Setup"
2. In the search box, input "Custom Settings"
3. Find the "Skedulo Configs" setting
4. Find the "Enable_Logger" setting
Value:
-
true: enable logger
-
false: disable logger
