AUHC Custom Setting: Enable_Res_Home_To_First_JA_Travel

Context:

• Travel time details for a job include...

  • Estimated distance and time for travel to the job

  • Actual distance and time for travel to the job

  • Additional distance and time for travel on the job

• AU Healthcare resources are able to view estimated travel details and enter actual travel details using the "Travel and Transport" mobile form. However resources are forgetting to enter the actual travel time value on the form which is resulting in the business having to edit the Service Delivery Record to fix the issue.

• Our customers are requesting that the actual travel time value on the ‘Travel and Transport' form is calculated and stored using the time values when the resource taps "Start Travel" and "Check In" (ie. Actual Travel Time = 'Check In' time value minus ‘Start Travel' time value)

• Lumary will then use the actual travel time value for the creation of the Service Delivered Record.

What we have done:

• When the resource has tapped “Check In” then set the ‘Actual Travel Time to Job’ value to equal “Check In” time minus “Start Travel” time.

• The calculated value is to be rounded up to the nearest whole minute.

  • Examples:

    • If calculated value is 34.2 then value to be stored is 34

    • If calculated value is 26.7 then value to be stored is 27

    • If calculated value is 0.1 then value to be stored is 1

    • If calculated value is 0 then value to be stored is 0

• When the resource accesses the “Travel and Transport” mobile form after tapping ‘Check In’ then they should see the calculated value as the default value.

• The actual time value can be edited by the resource on the “Travel and Transport” form.

• Skedulo Web App Settings:

  • The workflow settings in the Skedulo Web App are able to be set so that either the ‘Start Travel’ and/or ‘Check In’ statuses are not used on the mobile app. This means that the resource will not be able to record their actual start travel or actual check in times.

    

    

  • Should either or both the resource’s Start Travel and Check In values not be recorded on the job allocation record then do not calculate or store the Actual Travel Time to Job value.

If “Enable_Res_Home_To_First_JA_Travel” is set to false, the first Job Allocation of the date of the resource will not have the actual travel time field updated.

How to access the setting:

1. Go to "Setup"

2. In the search box, input "Custom Settings"

3. Find the "Skedulo Configs" setting

4. Find the "Enable_Res_Home_To_First_JA_Travel" setting

Description:

Enable/disable estimated Travel Time and Distance from Resource's Home address to his first Job Allocation of the date.

Enable_Res_Home_To_First_JA_Travel = False
