What’s New
Job Allocation modal
-
Unavailable resource list is now accessible in the job allocation modal alongside the available resources.
-
There is an indicator on each resource showing all of the applicable unavailable reasons so that schedulers can make an informed decision, the reasons could be:
Unmatched regions
Blacklisted
Missing tags
No availability
Job conflict
Unavailable
Activity conflict
Infeasible travel time
-
Unavailable resources can be allocated to jobs or sent as offers.
-
A custom setting is in place to show/hide the unavailable resource list when it is not in use for allocation.
-
Setup > Custom Settings > Skedulo Configs
-
Name: Show_Unavailable_Resource
-
Value: True/False
-
-
Note: the term “blacklist” or “blacklisted” will be replaced with Exclusion or Excluded in the upcoming public release.
Display Inclusions at top of Resource Allocation list
There is a new ability to sort and view resources with an inclusion (Whitelisted) on top of the Resource Allocation list. This is functional on both available and unavailable resource lists.
Person Accounts
Person Accounts are now supported. On all consoles, schedulers can view, search and create jobs for “person account” clients.
Overnight Batch Exceptions Reasons Updated
-
The overnight batch that checks exceptions on jobs has now been upgraded to include Account and Location exclusions (blacklist).
-
When a resource is blacklisted with the related account of the job, the following message will be displayed: “Resource blacklisted with the account”
-
When a resource is blacklisted with the related location of the job, the following message will be displayed: “Resource blacklisted on the location”
Note: the term “blacklist” or “blacklisted” will be updated to “Excluded and Exclusion” in the upcoming public release.
Deployment Notes:
After installing the package, a script needs to be executed to add new picklist values. Click on Set Up / Developer Console / Debug / Open Execute Anonymous Window Copy the following script into the window and click execute statement to trigger the batch manually: skedhealthcare.skedBlackListExceptionBatch.execute(50);

Allocate resource directly from Offer list in Job Allocation modal
From the Offer tab in the job allocation modal, for resources that have been sent offers, schedulers can now directly select and allocate these resources to the job (instead of having to search for those resources again in available resource list)
- NB There is a known bug showing Pending as the current Status of each Resource. This will be fixed in the next release
Add Customers to Group Events with a Future Service Agreement start date
-
Clients who have future service agreement start dates can now be added to the group event template. Jobs can then be scheduled in advance for the clients.
-
Schedulers will need to provide a date in which the service will be provided. Applicable services will then be returned for selection.
Show and Hide Ghost Jobs, shifts and Activities on Scheduling Console
-
On the Scheduling Console, schedulers can hide ghost jobs, shifts, activities simply using a toggle in the filter area.
-
By default, the toggle is in off mode and ghost records will be shown.
-
When they are hidden, the resource’s scheduled hours will no longer include the ghost job records.
Using Apply Button on Resource Management Console to Prevent Dropping Filters
-
RMC introduces an Apply button to start searching in order to enhance consistency with other consoles and ultimately prevent the issue where some filters were dropped (this was caused due to previous automatic searching behaviour)
-
Apply button is enabled as soon as a filter has value. If there are saved filters, they will automatically be applied and searched.
Decouple Payable_Availability_Types and Payable_Activity_Types custom settings
-
Payable_Availability_Types is decoupled into 2 new custom settings:
-
HSC_Availabilities_Display: controls the availabilities that are displayed on the Scheduling console.
-
HSC_Availabilities_Schedule_Hour: controls the availabilities that are added up towards scheduled hours.
-
-
Payable_Activity_Types is decoupled into 2 new custom settings:
-
HSC_Activities_Display: controls the activities that are displayed on Scheduling console.
-
HSC_Activities_Schedule_Hour: controls the activities that are added up towards scheduled hours.
-
-
All four custom settings are capable of adding a long value set.

Service Agreement Line Items Now Unselected
Service agreement line items are now initially un-selected, leaving the selection to the users, instead of defaulting to the first option in the dropdown list as the previous behaviour which would cause unaware errors.
Issues Fixed
- When running the batch job, internal testing found an error. This was due to exception reason picklist had some values missing. In order to rectify if this error occurs, follow these steps:
Custom setting → Developer console → Execute script
skedhealthcare.skedPostInstaller handler = new skedhealthcare.skedPostInstaller(); handler.startUpdateFieldValues();
- In Service Agreement Management, an issue has been fixed, individual checkboxes and “select all” checkbox should be functioning as normal.
- In the Timesheet console, an issue has been fixed where an unavailability with start/end dates that crossed over 2 timesheet periods was only displaying the unavailability record of the first period on the Timesheet Console.
- In Job Allocation modal, an issue has been fixed where a resource with no availability was still appearing in the resource list.
