Searching our documentation has never been easier now that we've implemented AI-powered search on our docs site.

To use the AI-search:

1. Visit docs.skedulo.com.
2. Click the search bar.
   
3. Select Ask AI.
   
4. Enter your question. In addition to generating an answer from the documentation, AI search will provide you with links to further explore our documentation if you would like to read more.
   

To use a regular keyword search, just click Search instead of Ask AI. 

Automatically-generated Platform pages are now given sentence case names, which makes them easier to read. The Slug remains URL-friendly.

The auto-generated Name can still be modified by users with the appropriate permissions using Page editor.

Optimization now has the ability to create schedules that adequately consider the minimum and maximum hour requirements for resources over a specified period of time. This will now help to generate optimized schedules that adhere to resource availability constraints and produce schedules that respect minimum and maximum hour requirements.

These can be configured in the Resource's Details tab.

Example: Resource A is contracted to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, and is available Mon - Fri from 9 am until 5 pm. When optimizing, we should not schedule more than 20 hours of work and jobs should be set within the resource’s availability.

Customer Outcomes:

• Improved Resource Utilization: Customers will experience better resource utilization as schedules generated by the optimization engine will adhere to the minimum and maximum hour requirements. This ensures that resources are allocated efficiently, avoiding overburdening or underutilization.
• Enhanced Scheduling Accuracy: Optimized schedules that consider minimum and maximum hour constraints provide customers with more accurate and reliable scheduling outcomes. This accuracy increases their confidence in the schedules and reduces the risk of scheduling conflicts or violations.
• Regulatory Compliance: By incorporating the constraints into the optimization process, the software will help customers maintain compliance with regulatory requirements related to resource working hours. This ensures that schedules adhere to legal and industry-specific regulations, mitigating the risk of non-compliance.
• Time Savings: Customers will save time and effort by reducing the need for manual adjustments to align schedules with resource hour requirements. The optimized schedules generated by the engine will already consider these constraints, streamlining the scheduling process and enabling customers to focus on other critical tasks.
