Disclaimer
All enhancements done on the Allocation screen for Jobs are for the default modal. If this has been enhanced to support Award Interpreters then these new features will not be available by default and will require customisation.
What’s New
Sending notifications to originator
- To avoid spamming the public email group, new configuration is introduced to enable sending notifications to the originator only.
- The feature is applicable for the notifications sent for roster replication and publication from the Scheduling Console and Roster Management Console.
- To enable this feature:
- Custom Metadata Types > HC_Console_Settings > Roster_Replication_Mail_To_Initiator > Value = “true”
- By default the setting will be set to “false” meaning notifications remain being sent to public email group.
Apply button on Roster Management Console to prevent dropping filters
- The console has added an Apply button in order to enhance consistency with other consoles and prevent the issue where filters were dropped (this was caused due to previous automatic searching behaviour).
- Apply button is enabled as soon as a filter has value. If there are saved filters, they will automatically be applied and searched.
Unavailable resources allocation
Disclaimer review required
- Unavailable resource list is now accessible in the job allocation modal alongside the available resources.
- There is an indicator on each resource showing all of the applicable unavailable reasons so that schedulers can make an informed decision, the reasons could be (one or many or all):
- Unmatched regions
- Account excluded
- Missing tags
- No availability
- Job conflict
- Unavailable
- Activity conflict
- Infeasible travel time
- Unavailable resources can be allocated to jobs or sent as offers.
- Clicking “Refresh Unavailable Resources” in order to get the latest unavailable resources after any changes on job or sourcing requirements have been made.
- A setting is in place to show/hide the unavailable resource list when it is not in use for allocation.
- Custom Metadata Types > HC_Console_Settings > Show_Unavailable_Resource > Value = “true” (to show)
- By default the setting will be set to “true” meaning the unavailable resource list will be in visibility.
Account included resources in Job Allocation
Disclaimer review required
- Resources who have account inclusion will be indicated by a yellow star for visibility.
- The indicator is available on resources of available and unavailable lists.
- An additional sorting option “Account included” has also been added, which is set as a default sorting and displays account included resources to the top of the lists.
Location resource score in Job Allocation
Disclaimer review required
- Location Exclusion:
- Available Resources: a new business logic has been added so that for a resource to be considered available for the job, they must not be excluded by the location.
- Unavailable Resources: “Location excluded” is appended as a new unavailable reason, if a resource is excluded by a location, he/she will be unavailable for the job at that location.
- Location Inclusion:
- When a resource is included by the location, regardless whether they are appearing on available or unavailable resource list, a new indicator (yellow pin) will help highlight this info.
- Account included and Location included have distinctive indicators. One is a yellow star, while the other is a yellow pin.
Job offered resources in Job Allocation
Disclaimer review required

- From the “Offer” tab, schedulers can directly allocate resources to the job.
Automatically updating future jobs’ address when client address gets updated
- Any bookings or job types that involve a single client (non group event) and Address Type is Client, when the related Client Contacts address is changed, then the Address field of all future jobs of that Client will also be updated.
